Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation

I feel I might be late to the party with trying out the All Nighter Foundation, its been on my wish list for ages but I could never justify the price tag. However during a moment of madness (and possibly too many glasses of wine) this fell into my online basket and landed on my doorstep a couple of days later.

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation

If you haven’t heard of this foundation before it comes in 24 shades. The packaging is lovely, a silver design with a window to see how much product you have left in the bottle. It has a pump system which is great, I usually use 2 pumps to cover the whole of my face however 1 pump gives me a medium coverage. To get full coverage first time I do suggest using a foundation brush however using a damp beauty blender gives a more smooth finish in my personal opinion.

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation Shade 0.5

I picked up shade 0.5 which is the lightest shade they offer. Its just slightly too dark for my pale face when applied however once I’ve done all my concealing, bronzing, contouring and highlighting I found this wasn’t much of a problem. It didn’t oxidise during the day which I know a lot of people have had problems with and it leaves a lovely matte finish. I have dry skin and it works well for my skin type even though this foundation is more designed for people with oily skin.

I love the coverage it gives and the wear time even without a setting spray is amazing. However does it really have to sink into every single frown line on my face?! Within 2 hours the lines around my mouth, my nose and on my forehead looked deeper almost. I used the same primer I always do so nothing had changed, I even tested it with a couple of other primers I own and it did exactly the same. Such a shame as I loved everything else about this foundation.

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation

This retails for £29 from the Urban Decay website and Debenhams.

Have you tried the All Nighter Foundation at all? What are your thoughts?

Until next time,

This foundation is on my beauty wishlist at the minute as I only own one high end foundation and I’d love to try some more, this was a great review, I’m really pale too so would be worried that the lightest shade would be too dark on my skin!

Hopefully you love it more than I did, I was absolutely gutted when it sunk into every line as apart from that its a good foundation!

I might read a few more reviews before I go out and spend so much on a foundation because I struggle with some sinking into my smile lines and would hate for this to happen! xx

I usually really like Urban Decay products, I really want to try this foundation! It’s a shame about it settling into lines, but I may still get it if I’m feeling flush some day! Lovely photos!

It is a really nice foundation regarding coverage and lasting power, it might just be my wrinkly face haha!

Oh man the sinking into every line on your face thing would be a deal breaker for me, especially because when I get break outs it’s like my worst nightmare to put foundation on top and then have it sink in and emphasise everything!

Aye its a shame it sunk into all my lines, but it is good coverage wise. Could just be my wrinkly face haha!
