Too Faced Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette || Is It Worth The Price?

As soon as I seen that Too Faced were releasing this eyeshadow palette I just knew I had to get my hands on it, I was that desperate I bought it on the day of release all the way from America on the Too Faced website! I didn’t care about customs and postage prices, but I do wish I just waited until it was released in the UK as it would of been a lot cheaper for me – problems of an eyeshadow palette addict haha. The reason why this eyeshadow palette caught my eye is its design, its adorable! Its got a cute vintage vibe to it and its just absolutely beautiful to look at, the writing on the front has a spring velvet feel to it and the background has cute little birds and rabbits on it *squeals!*. The packaging is hard cardboard and doesn’t feel flimsy in the slightest. It’s got a large mirror which is fantastic if you are taking this palette out travelling with you and its full of 30 wonderful matte, shimmer and sparkle shades. It’s quite thin as well which also makes it perfect for travelling as it can fit into your handbag/travel bag easily.

It even comes with a little booklet which describes the history of the natural range with some basic eyeshadow looks to get you started with step-by-step instructions.

This palette is right up my street, its full of neutral shades which are super pigmented and can be easily blended into the eyelid. I do find the shimmers to be more pigmented than the mattes (which you will be able to see from the swatches) but I do find this with most eyeshadow palettes. If you have the other natural palettes from Too Faced you will notice that some of the colours have been transferred into this palette with added new ones.

Lets head to the swatches!

Heaven, Lace Teddy, Pink Cheeks, Poodle & Spotlight.

Fairy Tale, Satin Sheets, Kittens, Cutie Patootie & Honey Butter.

Nudie, Push-up, Bunny Nose, Dear Diary & Honeymoon.

Tickle Me, Honey Pot, Moonbeam, Coffee Date & Hot & Bothered.

Don’t Settle, Chocolate Martini, Love Bug, Spoiled & Makeup & Chill

Fingers Crossed, Undercover, Smokin’, Night Fever & Stiletto.

My favourite colour out of them all is Hot & Bothered, its gorgeous!

Whilst this palette gives the natural vibe and offers lots of natural colours it’s totally diverse. Its full of colours which can offer day and night eye looks. I do find the shimmers to have a small bit of fall out so I would advise maybe doing your eye make up before doing the face so the fall out can be easily swept away.

The palette is £52, now it is on the pricey side but you get 30 eyeshadows with this which works out roughly £1.70 per colour.

When you take how many colours there is, the pigmentation of the colours, the effort that has gone into the design and also the little booklet that comes with it I feel it totally reflects the price. If you do not already have this palette in your collection I would totally recommend buying it, I can guarantee you wont be disappointed (I’ll eat my words if are haha)

You can buy the eyeshadow palette from Debenhams.

  1. I’ve seen this palette floating around quite a lot, and the colour scheme is really “me” but it’s just sooo expensive!

    1. I know, the palette is a bit on the pricy side which is such a shame really, but it is a fantastic palette 🙂

    1. I mainly use the lighter colours as I haven’t quite mastered doing a smokey eye with darker ones yet haha
