I dont think anyone can walk into TK Maxx and walk out without a bargain and that’s exactly where I found this beauty! I am an absolute huge eyeshadow palette hoarder, I tried to downgrade my collection the other day and I literally can’t part with any of them. So when I spotted this right in the corner of the beauty section at my local TK Maxx I instantly knew it had to join my ever growing family.
Granted this palette has been out for a couple of years now but I cannot find a bargain and not share it with you all!
As a lover of Too Faced (if you haven’t already check out my review and swatches post on the Natural Love palette check it out here) I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed in this palette and I was proved right. The colours all compliment each other, there’s a wide variety of looks you can create with this and most of the colours are super pigmented. It contains 15 pans which are a mixture of mattes, shimmers and pearl finishes, it also comes with an pencil eyeliner which I think is a fab addition with the palette.
So lets head to the swatches:
(Square 1 – Adore, Dearest, Cherish, Desire & Amorous)
(Square 2 – Sweetie Pie, Passion, Smitten, Romance & Obsessed)
(Square 3 – xoxo, Darling, Devotion, Puppy Love & Everlasting)
Yes I admit, my swatching skills can do with some improvement haha, but as you can see from these swatches some of the colours are super pigmented while some can take a bit more product to build up the colour. I am absolutely loving the green colour (Darling) and I think it would be the perfect green to add to an autumn themed eyeshadow look.
As you can see from the pictures this palette includes cards which gives you an idea of what kind of eye look you can create with a step-by-step guide on the back on what colours are used and where to apply them.
So this little beauty cost me £14.99 … yup that’s right, £14.99. Less than half the price it is on the Debenhams and Too Faced website. I personally think its a fab addition to anyone’s collection and especially at that price you can own a high end palette for the price of a drug store one! You can pick up this from TK Maxx online or in store.
Do you own this palette? If so what are your thoughts and opinions? Let me know 🙂
Until next time,
