When you read the word ‘Sudocrem‘ what do you associate it with?
Yup, I thought of nappy rash too, but this little tube is now a huge part of my daily skincare routine! I was sent a sample to try out and I’m seriously shook. I never would of thought to use Sudocrem to help with my terrible break out prone skin. I’ve tried all sorts of face washes, skin care routines, cleansers, Clearasil products yet I tried this once and the spots around my chin and neck area were practically gone or significantly reduced.
How It Works
So basically Sudocrem Skin Care Cream is a ‘grown-up’ version of the tub which is very popular amongst parents to help with nappy rash in their young children, however this tube uses the same ingredients just in different proportions to help send them nasty spots and acne packing. How I used this was applying it like a face mask before I go to bed all over my face and neck (yup my neck gets bad spots too *cries*) using a small amount, the product is quite thick and blends evenly across the skin so a little goes a long way, and by the morning my spots are pretty much gone!
This doesn’t just work for spots, I’ve noticed it has also helped with my horrendously dry skin around my nose! Its reduced dramatically which is a huge bonus when its time to pop on my make up, I don’t even need to use a primer anymore! One less chore added to my make up routine (bonus!).
My aim for the post was to post a before an after photo of my skin however I don’t seem to have a before photo of my skin without any make up on! So here’s a beautiful photo of me wearing it as a face mask (yup, it makes me look like Casper the ghost).
The packaging is just a simple white tube with a grey, pop-open lid stating the brand name [obvz] with the directions for use and the ingredients added on the back. This handy tube holds 30g of product, yes that may not sound like a lot but as I mentioned before a little really does go a long way, I’ve been trying this product every night for the past week and a half and there’s still so much left. The tube is the perfect size to just pop into your handbag for on the go, definitely travel friendly!
This fantastic wee tube of brilliance is a small price of £1.99 and available at Boots >> here <<
