September Favourites

Is that October already? Wow, I said this last month but it really is true, this year is flying by and I cant keep up!
Because this is my first year blogging its only appropriate I join in with Blogtober which I’m super excited to give a try. If you don’t know what it is its basically throughout the whole of October you pop a post up everyday, lets hope I can succeed.

September Favourites

September was a pretty good month beauty wise with the release of both the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette and the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette (both which conveniently I cannot afford!) along with the new eyeshadow and highlighting palettes from Make Up Revolution in collaboration with Sophdoesnails which are absolute fab! (Check out my swatch posts here and here).

In amongst the new releases I’ve managed to find some things which I’ve been absolutely loving throughout September, things I cannot stop using and things I’ve grown to love again.

L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Foundation

This is a recent purchase but I cannot put it down! It gives me the coverage I need and Porcelain is the perfect shade for me. When I open my make up bag its always the one I grab first without even thinking about it. It’ll defo be a repurchase when I eventually run out of it. Granted it doesn’t last the 24 hours it says it will but it lasts a pretty decent time! Can be purchased from Boots for £10.99.

Nails Inc Magnetic Nail Polish in Kensington Palace

I’ve had this for ages and never found the time to have myself a pamper night until recently so decided to give this a try. At first I was a bit sceptical and once I’d gotten the hang of using it I’m in love! It’s the perfect shade of autumn and its all I’ve worn throughout September! As soon as I see a chip in my nails its straight off then back on again, I do have other colours from the same range which I want to try as well but right now this is the one for me.

September Favourites

Contour Cosmetics Aphrodite Eyeshadow Palette

I’ve fallen back in love with this eyeshadow palette, it has the perfect nudes in it. This was one of the first eyeshadow palettes I bought when I got myself into make up then since buying about a billion other palettes this was shoved to the side. But lately I’ve been trying to bring out the old make up and I remember why I bought it. All the colours are super pigmented and just blend perfectly, you can create any nude look with this palette from day to night. A huge must have. Plus it comes with a pretty decent brush! You can purchase this from Contour Cosmetics directly and it retails for £26 however they have a sale on and its been reduced to £16!

September Favourites

Zoella Gelato Cream Body Scrub

This has been an absolute shower essential for me since I bought the whole range back in  July (check out the haul post here). It leaves my skin feeling soft and free from dead skin, also the smell of it is amazing, its defo a summer smell but I cant put it down! Maybe I need to branch out and try to find an autumn themed one, if you have any recommendations please let know. This can be purchased from Superdrug and retails for £8.

September Favourites

Bomb Cosmetics ‘I Believe in Unicorns’ Bath Blaster

Since I did my Bomb Cosmetics haul back in the beginning of the month (check it out here if you haven’t already) and I’ve fallen in love with this particular bath blaster! It’s so cute and smells amazing, makes me feel like a unicorn when I come out! The essential oils in this makes my skin so smooth and sleek. Plus I love unicorns.

I wasn’t expecting the texture of the Zoella Body Scrub to look like that- I think I definitely need to try it.

I’ve read bad reviews about the new Zoella’s products lately… have you tried just the body scrub?? and which one would you recommend? xx -M

The only bad reviews I’ve seen are regarding her advent calendar (which I 100% agree with!) but I bought the whole range from the Jelly and Gelato and the only products I really do love is the cream scrub, the body mist and the bath milk so would highly recommend those 🙂

Ooooo I love the look of all these products! Especially that bath bomb, so cute! I really want to try the new Huda palette but it’s a bit too pricy I think so maybe when I win the lotto. I’ve wanted to try the magnetic nails inc polish for ages to so think i need to go out and get one xx

    • October 6, 2017 / 5:12 pm

I’ve added the Huda palette to my Christmas wish list but I doubt I’ll get it haha! Wishful thinking.
And you do! I’ve got a blog post dedicated to the collection coming shortly with some photos of the patterns 🙂
