The winter months are gone, the sun is making an appearance almost every day and its looking like I can finally put my woolly jumpers back into hiding. I absolutely love Springtime, that transition between Winter and Summer where its not too cold yet not too hot, the blossom trees are blooming and the daffodils start poking their heads. Its nice to go outside without having to pop on 15 layers and start showing a bit of leg. However my wardrobe is a slight sorry affair. I seem to go for the same clothes everyday, which consists of a pair of jeans and any top that is up the top of the pile. I’ve vowed to try and change that up this year though, start going for clothes which I would never usually wear.
Today I’ll be sharing with you all my River Island dresses wish list, the items which have caught my eye and I would like hanging in my wardrobe.
1 – Black Stripe Tie Front Cami Dress – the first dress that instantly caught my eye. The whole green, pink and black work so well together and when I seen it I started constructing a look in my head. With a denim jacket and sandals on the feet I think this would work so well, especially for a couple drinks in the sun with friends or family.
2 – Green Leaf Print Cami Slip Midi Dress – this just screamed Spring to me. Love the leaf print that runs across the entire dress and the pale pink background. Same with the black striped dress this would look gorgeous paired up with a denim jacket!
3 – Mid Blue Fitted Button Through Denim Dress – you can never go wrong with a cute denim dress. You can wear them on their own or with a top underneath for the colder days with a pair of black tights and some converse down the bottom. A proper staple for Spring.
4 – Orange Knot Front Bardot Bodycon Midi Dress – how beautiful would this dress be for a wedding? Its such a shame I haven’t been invited to any this year (yet) but I would totally buy this. With a pair of open toe heels, a clutch bag and a fascinator, this would make the perfect outfit.
What’s on your River Island wishlist?
Until next time,
