Revolution Beauty – My Top 5

If you have been a long time reader of my blog then you’ll know my obsession with Revolution Beauty (formally known as Makeup Revolution). From their affordable price tags to their fantastic range of makeup, I just crave it all. Granted some products can be a hit or a miss but makeup is one of those things that work differently for different people. Take the Fast Base Foundation Stick for example, so many people swear by it but for me, it was a miss. But through the massive collection of Revolution Beauty products that I own, I’ve managed to whittle out my Revolution Beauty top 5 which are my favourites that I highly recommend you trying out too. So if you don’t own any of these, then get these in your basket!

Revolution Beauty x Soph Extra Spice Eyeshadow Palette

It was a hard choice between her original palette and this one, but in the end this one won. It’s all about the colours for me. That gold, yellow, pinks and the natural colours are just absolutely gorgeous, especially that silver shade. That was the main shade which drew me to this palette in the first place. Even though it has a lot of warm tones in here which I love, it has a couple of cool tones thrown in there as well just to keep the balance. You can create such a wide variety of looks with just this 1 palette. Plus most of the shades are named after foods or drinks which I love!

I have a whole blog post about this eyeshadow palette which you can check out here. Available from Revolution Beauty and Superdrug for £10.00.

Revolution Re-Loaded Palette – Newtrals 2

Another eyeshadow palette I absolutely adore from Revolution Beauty. It was actually Nikki over at Love Laughs Lipstick who raved about it and I just knew I had to pick it up. It’s just full of those warm shades I love and it’ll be perfect for the autumn months. With gorgeous pinks, oranges and stunning shimmers, this palette will honestly make a lovely addition to your eyeshadow palette collection. It’s such an affordable price as well, dropping in at only £4.00! To be honest, most of the eyeshadow palettes in the re-loaded collection are absolutely stunning so if this one doesn’t catch your eye, there’s a whole range with different colour combinations to choose from. Highly recommended!

Revolution Ultra Bronze, Shimmer and Highlight

I found a cheap bronzer that doesn’t make me look like I’ve rolled about in mud! If you like a shimmery bronzer which gives you that little bit of colour then this one could be for you. What I tend to do with this is swirl my brush over all 3 shades and just apply it to the areas I want bronzed. The main areas are around my hairline and on the cheek bones. For someone who’s incredibly pale, bronzer can turn my face from a ghost to a bronzed goddess in seconds.

Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer

Possibly the most hyped up concealer of 2018. When this was released everyone had to own it as it was an apparent dupe for Tarte Shape Tape. So me, who tends to join every hype going, had to give it a try as well. It’s now become one of my concealer essentials in my makeup routine! It does the job its intended to do, conceal all your worries away. When it comes to a concealer, I need a decent full coverage one as I have horrible bags under my eye balls and its definitely that. I’m super curious to know what the new foundation is like though, but trying to find it in stock in my shade is proving more difficult than I thought!

I have a whole post about this concealer which you can find here. Available from Revolution Beauty and Superdrug for £5.00.

Revolution Retro Luxe Lip Kit in Queen

I never thought I would fall in love with this liquid lipstick from Revolution Beauty. I have my firm favourites like Jeffree Star and Lime Crime and I’ve been stuck in my ways for so long. But this colour just stood out to me. A striking red lipstick that’s comfortable on the lips and lasts for a good few hours. The lip liner is super creamy and applies like a dream whilst the liquid lipstick itself doesn’t bleed around my lips and layers on top of the lip liner just perfectly. A red lipstick lovers dream!

Revolution Beauty Top 5 - Lip Kit in Queen

Available from Revolution Beauty for £6.00.

If you haven’t already tried anything from Revolution Beauty before then I highly recommend checking them out. They sell such a wide range of different products for such affordable prices and top quality too!

What’s the main makeup product in your Revolution Beauty top 5?
