Hello and welcome to another addition of ‘oh look Heathers bought herself another eyeshadow palette that she doesn’t need’. My collection is growing at a rapid rate and I only have 2 eyelids! But with so many brands releasing pretty palettes it’s hard to resist them all. And with brands like Primark upping their game in the beauty department I need all the pretties in my life. So during one of my monthly shopping trips I noticed the Primark Glitter Junkie Eyeshadow Palette and knew it had to get acquainted with my collection.
The Primark Glitter Junkie Eyeshadow Palette with Swatches
With bright colours and gorgeous shimmers, this palette is perfect for the festival season. Granted most of the festivals are already over but there’s still so many left to go. From a purple shimmer look to a gradient style blue to pink, there’s a little bit for any festival goer. The striking colours are pigmented for the price and those shimmers definitely pack a punch when either swatched or applied to the lid. The matte shades do feel slightly chalky and there is some fall out but still workable. You do find with most eyeshadow palettes these days that you will discover fall out from the pans. If this happens then best thing to do is to do your eyes first then your foundation. That way you don’t ruin your base makeup.
I really love the name of this palette, Glitter Junkie. Now I’m not too sure how long this eyeshadow palette has been out for but it’s new in my local store so technically new for me. It’s part of a whole range of glitter products available from lip products to a full on glitter palette. There’s also a highlighter palette which I 100% need to get my hands on however the only one left on the shelf had been swatched and didn’t fancy it.
The Primark Glitter Junkie eyeshadow palette retails for the low price of £5. £5 for 9 colours which are pretty pigmented. Yes you have to blend more than your high end palettes but at this low price you really can’t complain.
