January started off as a drag, February flew by within the blink of an eye and now all of a sudden April is here. We’re now in the realms of Spring (even though it doesn’t feel like it!) and I’m so excited for all the peachy toned makeup to make a comeback. March was a funny old month for me, seeing me take a week off blogging due to work becoming too much and my mental health taking a turn. However I’m currently celebrating 3 weeks off work, which I feel I deserve! Already I’m feeling much better and I don’t want this time off to end.
Because it is the end of the month its only natural to share with you all my favourites throughout March. So grab yourself a cuppa and have a read through my March Favourites. Not many this month unfortunately, but just enough to keep me going.
Sleek Highlighter Palette in Solstice
As many of you know I love a highlighter, one of the first highlighting palettes I bought was from Sleek. It was the Midas Touch which is no longer available unfortunately, but its still a firm favourite in my makeup bag. When Boots had their 70% off sale I found a Sleek Christmas gift set with this highlighter in and decided to pick it up and see if it was as good as the other one. It is bloody beautiful and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since.
The rose gold, reflective packaging is stunning and the colours inside are even better. Each highlighter shade is super pigmented and literally give me that pop of glow I adore. There’s 4 different shades; 2 baked powders, 1 shimmer powder and 1 cream. My favourite has to be the purply shade in the top right.

Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palette – Eyes like Angels
I’d had this eyeshadow palette in my collection for quite a while but was too scared to try it out. But after swatching a couple of the shimmer shades I knew I had to give this a proper try. Since then I’ve been using it constantly as well as the Newtrals 2 palette (you can read my review on that palette >> here <<). I think its safe to say I’m no longer scared to try a bit of colour and this palette is the reason why.
Even though there’s heaps of shimmer shades available you do have some transition shades so you can create an eye look solely using this palette. One of the reasons why I love this so much is you can create many coloured looks, from a blue to a pink to even a smoky green creation. The possibilities are endless. Plus each shade is super pigmented! I’ll be doing a full review with swatches soon so keep an eye out.

Colorsport 30 Day Brow Tint in Dark Brown*
I have eyebrows again thanks to this little beauty (you can check out my full review >> here <<)! I found this so easy to use and it doesn’t take much time out of your day. The one thing I love about this kit is I can wake up some mornings and forget to do my eyebrows. I’m still not 100% with my eyebrow drawing skills and when I’m super busy and still want a face of makeup on I don’t need to worry. The first time I tried this I was so impressed with how well it worked. It turned my blonde, fair, non-existent eyebrows into noticeable hairs on my face.

RuPaul’s Drag Race
I have fallen on the bandwagon of absolutely loving RuPauls Drag Race. I am proper obsessed! So yes, I’m featuring it in my March Favourites. I had heard so many people rave about this programme but never really took much notice until I came across it on Netflix so decided to pop it on. I was instantly hooked! When the kids have gone to bed I put it on and watch it until its time to head to bed myself. I’m so obsessed I’ve actually been using quote from the programme, not sure if this makes me ‘cool‘ or ‘crazy‘! But one thing I’ve learnt from the show is the quote at the end, ‘If you can’t love yourself, then how the hell you gonna love somebody else?!‘. I feel this is so important and I’ve completely taken this on board. In some ways the show is inspirational yet hilarious at the same time, I FREAKIN LOVE IT!
What’s in your March Favourites?
Until next time,
