Back on Sunday I shared with you all the Freedom Pro Vamp Lipsticks which are part of the Tam Beauty Halloween collection which they recently released and I thought they were pretty fab! But today I’m going to be talking all about the Midnight Unicorn eyeshadow palette from Makeup Revolution which I think is absolutely beautiful. I was pretty intrigued by the look of this which is why it ‘somehow’ ended up in my basket.
The packaging is just a simple black glossy look with the name of the brand across the front but opening it up you’re met with 16 ‘to die for’ gorgeous shimmer shades! This is a shimmer palette, I would of loved to see maybe 3/4 matte shades just to build a transition in the crease but I suppose its nothing to worry about, but it does mean using another palette.
The names of the shades isn’t under them but there is the flimsy plastic sheet inside as well, if you like to refer to the colours by their names I would suggest keeping this, this also helps to protect the mirror from product. You also get a decent sized mirror as well, absolutely love it when brands pop a mirror in their palettes! The brush is just your bog standard one that comes with most palettes which usually ends up in the bin. I tend to give mine to the kids as they love them!
So lets move onto the swatches:
There’s a good selection of pastel shimmer shades as well as some smoky dark shades. Swirling my finger in each shade they feel so creamy and there’s hardly any fall out and you can see the pigmentation is definitely there, they swatched fantastically on my arm. Out of all of them the purple shades and the coral one are my favourites, I do love a good purple eye look!
I’ve said it a million times before and I’ll say it again over and over, I bloody love Makeup Revolution and I can see myself forever loving them. This palette is available on the Tam Beauty website and it’s only £6! This is one of the many reasons why I love them their prices are so affordable with products that are fantastic.
I kind of hope this palette isn’t going to be limited edition as it is a truly beautiful palette.
Think you’ll be picking this palette up? Or do you already own it? What are your thoughts?
Until next time,
