I’ve decided to do a new series on my blog which is Face Mask Friday! I do love doing a face mask after a looong week [who doesn’t?!] and trying out new and different ones. Today we will be talking about the L’Oréal Paris Pure Clay Detox Mask. This is one of my favourite masks to use so what better way to start the series than with this! I recently featured this in my July Favourites as I’m obsessed with it at the moment!
So this mask comes in a tub with a screw off lid and holds 50ml of product, on the front of the box it does say it manages 10 applications but I’ve managed around about 15 uses. It’s proven to detox the skin, clarifies and helps to remove or reduce pores, you can see this mask working as it dries down.
The main ingredients are:
- Koalin [clay]– A highly effective natural clay, known to absorb impurities and excess sebum.
- Montmorillonite [clay] – Rich in minerals, a clay recognised for helping to eliminate imperfections.
- Ghassoul [clay] – A pure clay highly concentrated in minerals renowned to help clarify complexion.
- Charcoal – acts like a magnet to draw out impurities.
Once this clay detox mask is applied to the skin it dries pretty quickly to a hard consistency, its really difficult to move your face when this dries down as I once found out trying to have a drink! You leave it on for 5-10 minutes then remove with a wet towel or warm water and instantly your skin feels refreshed and radiant and that’s what I love about this mask, my skin feels amazing! You can use this 2-3 times a week and by the end of the week your skin is visibly transformed.
I really need to buy myself another tub of this stuff, I’ve only got 1 more usage of this left [cries] but I also want to give the other masks from this range a try as well, think I will have to pop all of them on my shopping list when I next head into town!
This is available from Boots for £7.99.
