My hair is a mess. I mean a proper dry, tuggy mess. Its forever got split ends and flyaways, I used to be so proud of my hair and how strong it was once upon a time but after kids its just gone in the opposite direction. I used to have such long hair that was down to just above my bum but quite recently, with the advice of a hairdresser, I got most of it cut off and now its down to just below my shoulders.
Did that solve the problem? Did it heck. I’ve tried so many different shampoos and conditioners out there to help it, from cheap to high end and I still cant get a hairbrush through it without losing some brain cells in the process.
So when Elizabeth got in contact with me to try out the Grace and Stella Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner* I couldn’t say no, maybe this was the miracle my hair so desperately needed.
I’m loving the packaging on these bottles with the cute pastel colours and basic design. The bottles come with a pump dispenser which makes getting the product out of the bottles so much easier. The shampoo bottle did come broken unfortunately, the pump never released from the lock no matter how much I tried so every time I have a shower I do have to unscrew the lid which is a pain but no harm done.
It has a lovely smell to it, doesn’t smell chemically or strong, a fresh scent. The shampoo lathers into the hair nicely and you only need a small amount of product, the same with the conditioner you only need a small amount. Its packed with argan oil, shea butter, vitamin c and rejuvenating natural oils which have been proven to help dry and damaged hair, exactly what my hair is.
The main question is … did it work? Was it the miracle my hair so desperately needed?
In a way yes, its made my hair feel softer and I can get a hairbrush through my hair a lot better. I think all my hair needed was a bit of argan oil, why I never thought of that before I’ll never know! It looks a lot silkier and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy. However I still come across some knots but its liveable.
Altogether I do recommend these products if, like me, you suffer with knotty, unmanageable hair and you need to bring some life back into it. They can be purchased as a set from Amazon and it retails for £16.99.
Have you tried anything from Grace and Stella before?
Until next time,
