We’re well in autumn now and the warmer clothes are finally a staple in my wardrobe. Chunky knits, boots and cosy jumpers are 100% my thing just now. But my wardrobe was lacking in that department, everything seemed to be designed more for summer! I vowed to do a little revamp and did a little haul with Femme Luxe. I feel so blessed that they wanted to work with me. Anyways, I picked up 4 different pieces and I’m practically in love with it all.
Femme Luxe Knitwear
My absolute favourite item from the 4 that were sent. I just love how bright it is and makes me instantly think of the 90s. Its designed to be oversized which gives it such a cosy feel. While the polo neck doesn’t give me that closed feeling as its quite stretchy. I’ve been wearing this a lot recently and think it’ll be my favourite piece for many months to come. I teamed up this jumper with a pair of plain skinny jeans but this jumper looks amazing with a pair of ripped style black skinny jeans and a pair of white Converse. I feel because the jumper is so bright, making it the feature piece with simple colours works wonders.
I’m loving off the shoulder pieces right now which is why I had to pick this as well. I love how this jumper just sort of hangs off the shoulder but not too much. When this first arrived I knew instantly what I was going to pair this number with. I teamed this up with a tan coloured mini skirt, black tights and either black knee-high boots or white converse. With this option, it can be dressed up or casual, depending on the type of event/day you’re attending. I wore this to the PrezzyBox blogging event and I got a fair few compliments on the outfit, it’s simple yet stylish.
Obviously, when it comes to knitwear, I instantly think of full-on jumpers covering every inch of my body. But this proper wowed me when I saw it on the model. I love how you can style this up for a dressy occasion yet keep it simple for a cosy night in. I teamed this up with a simple pair of skinny jeans, a plain black strappy top underneath and black knee-high boots. Perfect for a date night with James (if we ever manage to find a babysitter!), a night out with the girls or just a night in watching a tv box set.
I’m not normally a dress person, but I saw some potential with this one. I love the fact that its maxi style so my legs aren’t showing, but I also love the thin straps which allow you to wear it on its own or layer it up. Which is why I teamed this dress up with a long-sleeved white top and a pair of white converse. It’s a lovely autumn outfit which doesn’t leave you feeling too cold. It can also be styled up with a denim jacket on top too. The only issue I have with this is it’s seethrough. As you can see from my photo, you can see my boxer knickers through the dress!
I’m really happy with everything I picked out. I’d never heard of Femme Luxe before so to get the opportunity to try out a new clothing brand is amazing. I love the quality of every piece, the neon jumper has been through the wash now 3 times and it hasn’t lost its shape. Every item doesn’t itch the skin which is a huge advantage when buying knitwear. Definitely keeping them in mind when I fancy a little online clothes shop! Highly recommend checking out all the knitwear clothing they have to offer.
