Favourite Autumn Make Up Bits

Autumn Make Up Bits

Hello lovelies!

Autumn is by far the best month for make up colours, with berry lips, golden eyes and where you can embrace your pale skin without someone asking ‘are you ok?’, I get that a lot. During the summer months its all about sun kissed skin, golden highlighters and the occasional bright coloured lippie which can be great for some people but it’s not for me, bring me a dark coloured lip and practically a white highlighter and I’m all over it!

So i thought I would share with you all a couple of bits in my makeup collection that I’ll be absolutely loving these autumn and winter months. My makeup collection isn’t drastically huge, I recently had a huge clear out and either sold or passed down to my step daughters who are both currently loving make up, bless them!

Contour Cosmetics Aphrodite Eyeshadow Palette

Autumn Make Up Bits - Contour Cosmetics Aphrodite Eyeshadow Palette

This was recently featured in my September favourites and I’m literally so happy I pulled this beauty back out. It’s such a beautiful palette with the perfect nudes to create any look. The palette is basically inspired by Greek Mythology with the names of the shades plus the packaging is a marble effect, just screams blogger!

Makeup Revolution X Sophdoesnails Eyeshadow Palette

Autumn Make Up Bits - Make Up Revolution X Sophdoesnails Eyeshadow Palette

Thank you for bringing this palette into my life, it’s amazing! Granted I wont be using all these colours as some of them I would associate with spring/summer (like Strawberry Sweets and Pink Champagne) but the darker shades are perfect, really want to try Pine Trees but not sure how its gonna look with my already green eyes! I can see Mixed Berries, Pumpkin, Danger and Copper Coin being used a lot over autumn.

Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Lipsticks in Saint and Dream Girl

Autumn Make Up Bits - Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Lipsticks

These, to me, are the absolute perfect shades for autumn, such lovely cranberry colours. If you seen my post regarding these lippies from back in June you’ll know how much I absolutely love these! I basically wore the shade Polly most of the summer and now I feel its the perfect time to bring out the darker colours in my collection.

Nars Velvet Lip Liner in Patong Beach

Autumn Make Up Bits - Nars Velvet Lip Liner in Patong Beach

This liner I received in my Look Incredible box back in August and it just seems to go perfectly with the Lime Crime lippies I mentioned above! I find lining the lips much better to help with bleeding and to give me a fuller looking pout. Plus I have weirdly shaped lips which aren’t symmetrical in the slightest so lining them before popping on a lippie helps.

Nails Inc Magnetic Nail Polishes in Kensington Palace and Spitalfields

Autumn Make Up Bits - Nails Inc Magnetic Nail Polishes in Kensington Palace and Spitalfields

Something i dont often talk about on my blog and thats nail polishes, its something I seem to always forget about but lately I’ve been absolute obsessing over these Nails Inc Magnetic Nail Polishes. You might of seen Kensington Palace featured in my September Favourites but I feel that Spitalfields will be a lovely addition to anyone’s nails over the autumn months as its such a beautiful green, reminds me of Christmas Trees!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Birthday Suit Eyeshadow Palette

Autumn Make Up Bits - Tanya Burr Cosmetics Birthday Suit Eyeshadow Palette

I feel Tanya Burr doesn’t get enough credit for the absolute wonder beauty products she releases imo. This palette is no exception to that list, its pigmented and perfect colours for autumn for a subtle nude look. Its only a quad of eyeshadows but its perfect for travelling and you can use all 4 colours. It also has a tutorial on the back with what to put on and what order, I love that about palettes!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Blissful

Autumn Make Up Bits - Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Blissful

I don’t quite know what it is about this blush but its just beautiful and you can build up the colour on the cheeks to suit how pinkish you want them. This is the darkest shade of blush I own and I feel I’ll be using this a lot during autumn for them rosy cheeks.

Sleek Midas Touch Highlighting Palette – Shades Cubic Zirconia and Rhinestone

Autumn Make Up Bits - Sleek Midas Touch Highlighting Palette

The Cubic Zirconia colour screams winter vibes, snow white feels and reminds me of frosty snow glistening in the sun. The perfect shade for my pale af face. Also the shade Rhinestone which is the blue shade in the bottom left hand corner I just love, probably more suited for winter but it had to have a mention!

I’ve decided reading back on all this I need to find more autumn inspired bits however I have put myself on a spending ban throughout October. But I hope this inspires you to buy some more pretties!
If you have any recommendations though let me know!

Until next time,

Hi, a great selection of make up, I love the nail varnish colours, I often use autumnal colours so I would love the green one.
