Face Mask Friday #2 – Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Paper Mask

Iiiiiits Face Mask Friday! Welcome back πŸ™‚

Today I’m going to be talking all about the Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Paper Mask. I’ve learnt from this one that me and sheet masks just do not get on, I’m the kind of person who still moves around and does stuff with a face mask on however with this one you simply cannot do that. Best thing to do with this mask on is to lie down and relax, something I simply cannot do apparently!

But anyways, onto the face mask! So this mask is a detoxifying one which has been formulated without Parabens, SLS and Silicones. The main ingredient is Charcoal, which is a fantastic natural ingredient which helps detoxify the skin and help remove impurities to give your skin a deep clean feel. Once I had a quick look around their website I soon learnt that YesTo are against animal cruelty which is a huge bonus, all the fragrances used in their products are certified by the International Fragrance Association and all of their products are made with at least 95% of natural ingredients so this is definitely a brand I want to continue using in the future.

Once opening the packet by ripping off the top I was slightly surprised, I’m not gonna lie I was hoping the mask would smell of tomatoes but it didn’t so I was a wee bit gutted. But to be honest it didn’t really have much of a smell to it which I suppose is a good thing. Pulling the mask out of its packet and unfolding it I soon realised it was VERY delicate, you don’t want to be unfolding this too quickly as it will rip quite easily. Once unfolded I started popping it onto my face and wow did I find that hard! I’d never used a sheet mask before and I stupidly decided to try and apply this without a mirror, huge mistake. Once it was eventually on my face it actually felt really nice! It instantly started to tingle in a good way, it might sound slightly strange but it felt like I could actually feel it working and detoxifying my face. Leaving it on my face for the 10 minutes it advises it was so easy to remove, that’s one of the things I love about these kind of masks they are so easy to remove, no mess and no peelings. Patting the remaining serum into the face, the area around my mouth and nose felt significantly tighter and the whole of my face felt refreshed, I love charcoal!

I am not much into paper masks because they are always so big that it’s inconvenient ! However rather than put charcoal mask on my face it may be a great idea !

Yeah I found the same problem as well, the face being slightly too big for my face but I do have a slight thin face. But they are really nice to use πŸ™‚
