Hello lovelies! Hope you’ve all had a fab October so far!
Bed time skin care routines, I’ve never really had one before, it was always a case of shoving on the pjs, brushing my teeth then jumping into my nice warm bed. But since I started blogging after reading a couple of blog posts regarding the importance of having a skin care routine I decided to try and devise one which worked for me.
After a lot of trial and error I think I have finally found one I’m pretty darn happy with, one that is finally working for me and makes me super confident in my own skin. It’s just a basic skin care routine which works fabulous on me!

So after doing all the popping the jamas on, brushing my teeth and popping my hair up in a bobble I plonk my bum in front of the mirror on my floor and start the road to better skin.
So lately I’ve been getting into Simple products more, a couple of months ago I was looking for some facial wipes to help take my make up off (do not use baby wipes like I did!) and I found a huge box of Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes in my local Asda, 6 packs for £3! I’m a huge bargain hunter when I want to be and I couldn’t walk past these. So I basically just wipe off all my make up using this, even if I’m not wearing any I always start with this step, just so I know all the sh*t has been rubbed off my face.
Once I’ve finished wiping my face I then move onto a cleanser. Lately I’ve been absolutely loving the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Complete Cleanser. It’s just your average size bottle which you pump out up the top. Give it a good shake first, do a couple pumps and it comes out as like a foamy texture and its been proven to remove impurities, excess oil and melt away make up. Some of the ingredients are Kiwi Fruit and Mulberry Extracts which will help revive the skin and leave it feeling energised, refreshed and radiant and that’s what I love about this. Lather this up on a damp face using circular motions then wash away and pat dry with a towel. Easy peasy!
Now I concentrate on the eye area and after 2 years of nightshift its finally starting to catch up on my tired looking eyes. So I’ve been using the Eclairant Beauty Eye Repair Cream, this is to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also works for dark circles, not dramatically but I can see a difference. I basically do half a pump on each eye and just rub the cream on the under part and the sides of my eyes then wait a couple of minutes for it to soak into the skin.
The last step of my incredibly small skin care routine is something to leave on my face overnight and back in June I received this Decleor Hydrating Night Balm in my Look Incredible Beauty Box and its an absolutely fantastic product, a bit on the pricey side but totally worth it. You get like a little stick with it and you just scoop up a small bit of product and pop it onto your palm and heat it up. Once its melted down a little bit you then apply to your face and neck using light sweeping motions. The smell on this is strong so if you don’t like strong smelling skin care products then I defo wouldn’t recommend this in the slightest. This helps to purify and rebalance the skin whilst also helping to soften and brighten the skin as well. If you live a stressful life like I do then I would recommend grabbing a jar of this stuff.
And that is basically my bed time skin care routine! Just 4 simple products which works for me.
