Every once in a while I go a little bit crazy. I have this mentality that when I have a spare bit of money, I tend to treat myself. Its not often I can though mind you, adulting can get pretty expensive. But when I’ve worked hard or done something I’m pretty proud of, I get myself a treat. This month I done a Beauty Bay haul as I’ve had a couple of products on my wish list for a while. But after winning at the bingo and working practically everyday for 3 weeks at work, I decided to tick these off the wish list.

Mario Badescu The 50th Anniversary Edition Set with Drying Lotion and Facial Spray – £32.00
In my previous Beauty Bay haul (which I surprisingly didn’t blog about) I picked up the Mario Badsecu Acne Cleanser and fell in love straight away. So I’ve been wanting to explore more of their skin care products. Theres been so much hype surrounding Mario Badsecu and the fact their products actually work. So for someone who suffers terribly with problematic skin (dry, spots, dullness etc) I felt I need to pick this set up.
So in the 50th Anniversary Edition Set you get:
- Enzyme Cleansing Gel.
- Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater.
- Drying Lotion.
- Silver Powder.
- Flower and Tonic Mask.
Now I’ve already tried the facial spray and loving it! I’ve been using it as a setting spray after finishing off my makeup and it leaves my face feeling refreshed but set in place. I probably won’t start using the cleanser until I’ve finished off the acne one first though. The drying lotion will 100% come in a handy when a pesky spot pops up on my chin. As for the masks, the silver powder is designed for the t-zone and the flower mask will be used during a pamper session. I cannot wait to dive right into the world of Mario Badsecu and hope it’s the answer my skin has been asking for.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics The Mini Velour Liquid Lipstick Nudes Volume One – £45.00
I absolutely adore the formula of the Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks. My go to pretty much is Calabasas which was released in the Summer 2017 collection. I have a couple more shades but fancied a bigger collection of the nudes. At £16.00 a pop for a liquid lipstick it can get pretty expensive building a collection. So I opted for a box full of minis instead.
In the Mini Velour Liquid Lipstick Nudes box you get:
- Skin Tight.
- Celebrity Skin.
- Posh Spice.
- Rose Matter.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted the shade Androgyny. Purely because its such a gorgeous plum mauve. Every shade just calls out to me and I do love a good nude. They come presented in this gorgeous box and they are easy to take out and pop back in. A great thing about minis is they are perfect to just chuck into your handbag on a night out or for travelling. Each one is about a third of the size of the originals and look so cute! Perfect if you want to start diving into the world of Jeffree Star and explore his makeup range.
BH Cosmetics Rose Romance 12 Piece Brush Set – £25.00
I’ve been in desperate need of some new makeup brushes for a while. I’m one of those people who doesn’t wash their makeup brushes as often as they should (I know, I’m terrible). Then when it comes to doing my face, all my brushes are dirty. So its always good to have some spares floating about. I already own a set of BH Cosmetics makeup brushes already and love them so picked up another set in my Beauty Bay haul.
These particular ones are the Rose Romance which are gorgeous. The white and rose gold handles definitely stood out to me. They are made with super soft synthetic bristles and are 100% vegan and cruelty free. They even came in a cute white bag which would make lovely makeup bag (providing it doesn’t get dirty quickly!). If you do need some new brushes then I find all of the BH Cosmetics ones super affordable, cute in design and I haven’t had any shedding yet!
Jouer Cosmetics Essential High Coverage Creme Foundation – £34.00
I tend to sway more towards drugstore foundations yet for some reason this one was calling my name. I’m not sure if it was the glass and gold packaging or the fact I’ve never tried anything from Jouer before. But I knew this needed added to my collection. I picked up the shade Ivory which was a huge mistake as its practically white. I associated the Ivory shade to other Ivory shades from other makeup brands. Please don’t copy my mistake. So since this order I have purchased the shade Porcelain which is a bit darker.
I’ll be doing a full review regarding this foundation to keep your eyes peeled!
Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink – £10.00
I’ve always wanted to try the Milani Baked Blushes since I’ve seen so many YouTubers rave about them. Theres a fair few shades to choose from but I finally decided on the Dolce Pink one. Its a gorgeous true pink with a hint of shimmer, to give my skin a glow. I was pretty surprised when I opened this up and under the product itself theres a mini brush and a mirror.
Now I’ve already tried this out and a little bit goes a long way. It’s super pigmented and gives your cheeks just that flush of colour. Even though this is quite pricey for a blush but it would seriously last you ages. You only need the tiniest amount and can build up if you want to. Its honestly a gorgeous blush and I can understand why people rave about it.
I had to limit myself to 5 items in my Beauty Bay haul, otherwise I would be utterly skint. But so far I’m really happy with my purchases and cannot wait for another treat month.
