You know what time it is … it’s the end of the month and that means 1 thing … favourites time! Throughout April I’ve been trying out so many different beauty products, some of them have been mediocre, some absolutely terrible yet it’s great when I can find some which I’ll continue to use for months on end – them ‘holy grail’ purchases.
So today I’m going to share with you my April Favourites, them products that have made the cut and are being featured in a blog post for you all to see.
CYO Lifeproof Long Lasting Foundation
To kick off my April Favourites I have to feature my latest drugstore discovery. This foundation has been my absolute holy grail throughout April. Its affordable, it lasts the majority of the day and it doesn’t feel cakey on the skin. I tend to use a beauty blender to apply this to my face and this works perfectly. It covers my blemishes and doesn’t leave any redness poking through.
There’s so many products I want to try from CYO as its seems like an interesting brand.
You can purchase this for £7.50 from Boots.
Makeup Revolution Ultra Bronze, Shimmer and Highlight
Every single favourites I do there always seems to be a Makeup Revolution product that pops its head. That’s because I love the brand excessively! I got this in a free package from Superdrug when you spend over a certain amount, I have to admit that I’ve never been a fan of bronzer, until now.
The pan size of this is huge! It’ll definitely last a long time but the bronzed glow which this gives my face is the real winner here. It leaves a lovely sun kissed bronze look without my face looking muddy or dirty. I tend to swirl all 3 colours together to bronze and it blends out nicely.
You can purchase this for £3.60 from Revolution Beauty.
Barry M Candy Culture Nail Polish in Blueberry BonBon
It was actually another blogger who made me buy the whole collection of these nail varnishes however this particular colour stood out to me the most. Its such a gorgeous pastel blue shade which is perfect for the Spring. Plus it smells just like blueberries!
I only need 1 coat of this nail polish as its completely opaque, however I like to go for 2. This particular colour lasted me roughly 5 days before I seen signs of chipping on my nails which I think is fantastic for a drugstore nail polish!
Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil
I never thought I would like this, I’ve been using brow pomades and the brow gel from Billion Dollar Brows (can check out my review here) however this has been a huge hit for me. I got this as a free gift for signing up to a magazine subscription and has been a firm favourite throughout April.
The Goof Proof Brow Pencil helps to give my brows a natural finish whilst making them look fuller and more defined. The shade 2 works with my light brown hair perfectly. I thought using a brow pencil would be a lot of effort and time, however it barely takes me 5 minutes to do them in the morning. I wish I had discovered this sooner!
You can purchase this for £20.50 from Boots.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser with Rose & Lavender
I heard so many people rave about this hot cloth cleanser which is why I decided to pick it up for myself and I wasn’t disappointed! I opted for the Rose & Lavender one instead of the original one due to my love for lavender.
This helps to remove my makeup without the use of facial wipes and helps to prevent breakouts on my face. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dull or dry, it totally leaves my skin feeling amazingly soft and clean which is what I want from a cleanser.
You can purchase this for £16.50 from Boots.
